Moving house more quickly than anticipated, the battle to clean down for a quick lick of paint before occupying our new home loomed. Calling in help, the cavalry (aka Karen) appeared complete with her own supply of sugar soap. Cleaning down walls for painting is hard work requiring a ‘wash and rinse’. Karen tackled the work with a smile. Somehow, after hours of painstaking work including rough plaster ceilings, she manage the same cheerful smile and left us with walls and ceilings ready for painting and kitchen cupboards ready to take our supplies. How she managed so much to the high standard she did I am not sure – I am sure we will ask her to help again in our hour of need.
